Best IOP Naples
Addiction is a disease that can afflict anybody, regardless of how strong-willed or intelligent they may be. A medical problem begins when your brain’s reward system intensely craves a substance like drugs or alcohol, causing an inability to quit, with withdrawal symptoms occurring when you try to stop. Because addiction changes the brain and causes behavioral, psychological, and physical changes, it requires more than “just stopping” the drug. A fully integrated rehab program like at WhiteSands Alcohol and Drug Rehab’s IOP in Naples is the best method to quit using drugs and alcohol successfully in the long run. At WhiteSands Alcohol and Drug Rehab, we offer inpatient and outpatient rehab services to get you clean and help you return to your life as a fully sober and independent person.
One of our most popular outpatient programs is our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). In our Naples IOP, you will have all the support and care you need while having the flexibility to go to school or work or otherwise customize your schedule to suit your lifestyle. We provide continued daily support, so you will never need to be alone in your recovery as you ease back into coping with everyday stress and temptations after treatment.
What Is IOP Addiction Treatment?
IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient Program, a 30 to 90-day program where you will live at home or in a recovery residence and participate in therapy groups three days or nights per week, along with individual therapy sessions and check-ins from your life-skills guide for 90 days. You will remain in contact with medical and psychiatric care providers you already know to ensure your physical and mental health are doing well and you have no issues with accessing continued care and prescription renewals in the future.
What Is the Difference Between IOP, PHP and OP?
At WhiteSands Alcohol and Drug Rehab, we offer levels of outpatient care that vary in intensity. Our outpatient programs consist of individualized care, dual diagnosis treatment, and one-on-one and group therapy. All of our staff members are trained in addictions treatments.
The Intensive Outpatient Program is three days a week of groups, plus one-on-one therapy appointments as you live at home or in a recovery residence. These treatments can all be scheduled around your life so that you can get back to work, school, or other responsibilities.
The Partial Hospitalization Program, also known as the day/night IOP program, lasts from 10 to 20 days and is a transitional phase of treatment. You will begin to return to your regular activities, with freedoms gradually introduced back as not to overwhelm you. You may live in residence or home during the PHP as you receive the same care offered in residential rehab.
Generally, PHP patients attend five hours of groups five to six days a week along with individual sessions and a weekly visit with a psychiatrist, and you will be introduced to your outpatient therapist and primary care physician for an easy shift into the IOP.
OP – Our Outpatient Program continues the IOP that can taper off and change as your needs evolve over time. We will never turn you away if you need support, and we can adjust your treatment intensity depending on how things are going with you.
Alcohol IOP Naples
For alcohol addiction, it is also essential to have continued support and care after detoxing. Alcohol is a popular and socially acceptable drug in our society and is found everywhere, from restaurants to corner stores. Staying sober can be a challenge, which is why the IOP is beneficial for those recovering from alcohol addiction.
IOP Drug Rehab Naples
Some drugs require continued, long-term support more than others, and our highly credentialed staff will help you determine the best course of action that will suit your needs and your lifestyle. We can work with your insurance company and your budget to create a feasible and achievable plan, so you can stop using drugs and remain in our care for as long as you need it.
